Nashville’s Career Training Programs Are In Good Hands With Alumni, Hall of Famer Bobby Leatherman
Bobby Leatherman is the Director of Automotive, Diesel and Heavy Equipment Programs for Lincoln College of Technology in Nashville. A 1978 graduate of the Nashville campus, when it was known as the landmark Nashville Auto-Diesel College (NADC), Mr. Leatherman joined the school as an instructor in 2006. He was inducted into the campus Hall of Fame earlier this year.
Mr. Leatherman came to Nashville from Vale, NC to study at NADC. After graduating he went to work for GM Service Technical College in Atlanta, GA, and helped with the transition of GM’s Saturn training operations to Raytheon Professional Services, LLC. He has held a number of titles including Technician, Shop Foreman, Senior Technical Advisor, Technical Researcher, Technical Instructor, Technical Development and Delivery Coordinator, Team Leader, Training Center Manager, Instructor Trainer, and Safety Manager, and has provided technical support for technicians across the country while working on several different technical hotlines.
