As a veteran, you’re eligible to apply for VA (Veteran Affairs) benefits. This includes benefits for pensions, education assistance, housing, life insurance, employment preferences and other services. VA benefits vary depending on a veteran's service record, and Lincoln's Financial Aid representatives would be happy to assist you in figuring out the best financing options for your education.

The Montgomery GI Bill®, also known as Chapter 30, provides up to 36 months of education benefits. This program can be put towards degree and certificate programs. More info on the Montgomery GI Bill® can be found on the GI Bill® website.
The Veterans Opportunity to Work (VOW) to Hire Heroes Act of 2011, provides seamless transition for Service members, expands education and training opportunities for Veterans, and provides tax credits for employers who hire Veterans with service-connected disabilities.
- Offered by approved institutions, such as Lincoln, in conjunction with the Department of Veteran Affairs.
- Partially or fully funds tuition and fee expenses that exceed established monetary thresholds established in each state.
- Veterans and dependents must be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® at the 100% benefit rate in order to be eligible for Yellow Ribbon Program funds*.
