IndyCar Driver & Team Owner Sam Schmidt Walks Again Using An Arrow SAM Suit

May 26, 2021 - Barbour Motorsports in Alabama: IndyCar driver Sam Schmidt was paralyzed from the neck down in a racing accident 21 years ago. Today, Sam is the owner of Schmidt-Peterson Motorsports, and he has taken his first steps with the help of technology in the form of an advanced exoskeleton. In this video, Sam is wearing the Arrow SAM Suit, or the Semi-Autonomous Mobility Suit, which has aided Sam in taking his first steps, as well as fulfilling the dream of dancing with his daughter at her wedding.
