Virtual Tour of Lincoln Tech’s Allentown PA Campus
This campus is located between the Pocono Mountains and Philadelphia and just east of Reading PA. This ideal location places students within commuting distance of employment opportunities with companies serving a large population. This campus provides education and training in healthcare, electronic technology and computer networking and security.
Students in the Computer & Network Support Technician program learn the fundamentals and maintenance for PC-based hardware and software, and how the software interacts when connected to the internet. Upon reaching graduation, students are qualified to take CompTIA Certifications in IT Fundamentals, A+, and Net+. Our computer networking students perform a 90-hour internship with a Lincoln Tech business partner.
Electronic Engineering Technology students start with the basics: the theory of AC & DC circuits, Ohms law and the tools used for the building and maintenance of electronic devices. By the time EET students graduate, they will have the ability to program, maintain and repair electronics in many industries.
The Medical Assistant program provides students with the hands-on experience needed to competently perform EKGs, phlebotomy and adhere to sterile-field techniques. Upon nearing graduation, the medical assisting student will also complete a 180-hour externship with a local healthcare provider that partners with Lincoln Tech. Graduates from this program are prepared to take the Medical Assistant certification exam; once certification is achieved, the student can then work in either private practice or public facilities as an EKG Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, and more.
