The Lincoln Tech Denver campus has trained workers for in-demand industries for more than 55 years. Once known as Denver Auto-Diesel College, the Lincoln Tech Denver campus is a flagship facility where students from around the country come to train for careers in the auto, diesel, collision repair, welding, HVAC and electrical fields. Career Training Programs
- Automotive Service Technology – There are two training paths: a 1,320-hour Automotive Service Technology diploma program and a 1,545-hour Automotive Service Management program that offers an Associate of Occupational Studies degree. Ask about our special Mopar CAP program. Our campus is also proud to host Tesla START, a 16-week training program available to graduates of Lincoln Tech’s Automotive training programs across the country!
- Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology – Lincoln Tech’s Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology program integrates the teaching of I-CAR standards and encourages students to become I-CAR certified technicians upon graduation.
- Diesel and Truck Technology – train for a career working with large diesel-powered vehicles in roles such as diesel service advisor or diesel technician. There are two training paths: a 1,320-hour Diesel & Truck Service Technology diploma program and a 1,545-hour program that offers an Associate of Occupational Studies degree.
- Electrical and Electronic Systems Technology – electrical training for servicing home theater equipment, closed circuit TV systems, fire alarms and more. Training consists of mostly low-voltage circuits and equipment, though some aspects of high-voltage is also covered. Major companies like Johnson Controls are among many of Lincoln Tech’s hiring partners. There are two training paths: a 1,200-hour diploma program and a 1,425-hour program that offers an Associate of Occupational Studies degree.
- Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Systems Technology (HVAC) – qualified graduates can take advantage of Lincoln Tech’s exciting partnership program with Hussmann, a leading global provider of commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Welding & Metal Fabrication – there are two welding training programs available: a 720-hour Welding and Fabrication Technology diploma program and a 920-hour Welding and Fabrication Technology with Pipe diploma program. The additional 200 hours in the Pipe program focuses on SMAW and MIG welding piping in a variety of standardized welding positions. Both courses teach the V-Groove techniques for the specific type of welding.

MOPAR CAP Levels 0/1 are offered at the East Windsor campus as an Independent learning module available to all current automotive students. Successfully passing this module satisfies the prerequisite training needed to apply for the MOPAR CAP 2 advanced training program, which is available at Lincoln Tech’s Mahwah, NJ, campus. | ||
Electrical Vehicle (EV) technology is quickly becoming a must-add knowledge base to the technician’s skill set. The Denver campus is the first Lincoln Tech campus to offer the Tesla specialized training program. | ||
Also available to qualified graduates of our Denver automotive program is the opportunity to apply for specialized training in manufacturer-specific technology. These programs are offered at various Lincoln Tech campuses across the country. Graduates from our Electrician Training program can also apply for specialized product-specific training sponsored by Johnson Controls Academy, which builds on the lessons learned in the Johnson Control Prep training. The Johnson Controls Academy is located at Lincoln Tech’s Columbia, MD campus. | ||
Qualified graduates of our HVAC program can also continue their training by applying for the specialized Hussmann partnership program, which can lead to excellent career opportunities. Hussmann’s TechX facility is located at the Grand Prairie, TX campus. | ||
